The country at this present moment is facing sensitive issues such as rapes and no solutions seem enough to stop this crime from being done by the alleged rapists. I conciously used the word alleged as many rape cases are just framed in order to either tarnish the image of a man or to quench one's thirst of revenge.
But even if one rape case is true, aren't we all to be blamed for it? How?
Look into yourself for a moment and you would see the answer lying within you. Suppose you are out on the streets and a girl passes by. No I will not say looking at the girl will be something very bad to do. But looking at the girl with lust in your eyes or probably looking at the cleavage and imagining how tasty it would be in your mouth is something which is wrong.
In Quran it is said that if by mistake you look at a women with lust then lower your eyes and ask for reverance. So is said in the Holy Bible. Deny it, you cannot.
My words might seem to be that of a lunatic or as some would suggest a 'cocain monkey', but it is true that we are all slaves, slaves to our desires. We know not how to curb our desires and forget that there exists a stuff called pornography to drain out our desires, making best use of our hands!
It has become a Bollywood cliche to say "Ghar mein maa behan nahin hai?". Some people will still not understand that their actions can be copied by others and implemented on their mothers and sisters.
Before we shout out our lungs and point our finger at a girl for wearing skimpy clothes and roaming about in the city till late in the night, we should not forget that some fingers are pointing towards us trying to tell us that our mentality should change. If a mentally unstable woman roams around in the streets naked, will still some men go and dirobe her dignity? Probably they will since many in today's world think looking at a girl's cleavage or fantasising about she being naked with him is being a man. And I thought keeping a moustache was 'being man'.
We should also not forget that the moment we start giving in to these desires we are suceptible to making more mistakes which are products of these uncontrolled desires.
I am nobody to suggest what is to be done but as a worldizen of this world I feel it to be my birth right to be vocal against the wrong perspectives of a supposedly human being.
